Hi GUys,

Just two quick questions - is if ok to leave the ooth in the same conditions the adult was in? I've moved the female to another cage....but wasn't sure if I should move the ooth - for example, do they require it to be warmer than the adults do?

Anyone know the average gestagion period for a budwing ooth (need to plan for deli cups)?

the ooth will be fine as long if you keep it in 22-26 degrees celcius and 80% humidity, so do the nymphs...well if you want that they grow up fast

it will hatch out in 4-6 weeks. :)

You can keep the ooth with the same conditions as you kept the adult and it will hatch out fine. Keep in mind too much humidity and misting might cause fungus and mold to start growing on the ooth itself. Spray around once or twice a week, since budwings are from Africa and they don't require a whole bunch of moisture.
