ooth finally...

well the griffin has finally decided to lay her ooth but look where she decided to lay it ( sorry pic isnt very good) but she went up between the sticks into where the cage panels meet and onto the screen mesh this is gonna be fun to remove

It took 18 days from mating to laying an ooth

it seemed way longer than that

she is actually looking smaller than when she first started laying

I made sure I fed her well for this

I dont know what the average size is for a griffin ooth but this is looking fairly big to me

i will post another pic when she is done

oh and it looks light blue right now

It only took 6 + hours but she finally finished and to me it looks like a nice ooth

well here is the final ooth it was easy to remove a sharp blade and it came right off

on a side note I thought I was smart and try to mate the griffin again I almost lost the male she was not interested he came away with no antennae and I came away with an almost heart attack. And yes the ooth is green
