A wild mantis layed her eggs on the bottom of a plant pot last fall. The pot was brought indoors recently, about 2 weeks ago for other planting projects. Can I put the eggs outside again? Has it been to long indoors with warm tempurature?

I would advise against it as they have been incubating for 2 weeks now, especially after the cold diapause they are currently developing.

Returning them to the cold will cause the eggs inside to die, I've tried it before myself. Diapaused ooths, short incubation time, then more diapause (as I had too many incubating), but when I tried to incubate/hatch them afterwards not a single mantis hatched, and that was only after a week to 2 week incubation in between.
