Ootheca stopped short

My budwing ooth hatched the other night but I only got about 25 nymphs. I had it glued to a lid of a 32 oz. deli cup. I would wait till about 10 hatched out and switch the lid to another cup so not to over crowd them. Not sure if this may have dried it out. My question is has anyone ever resurrected an ootheca after it stopped hatching? And how long can I keep these nymphs together before I have to separate them?

sometimes they take 3-5 days to fully hatch

just keep sprayin

i keep my nymphs together until at least L3
