Well, the title pretty much. All I have is a single bark mantis female, and I really want more! Something CHEAP, because even though it's my money my parents don't like me "wasting" it. Anything, whether it be ooths, nymphs, adults, or adult pairs. Just something to help me get started with raising a colony and breeding, so it should be relatively easy to feed/breed and should have a somewhat low-ish death rate. Odontomantis planticeps is on my wish list now, since I'm an ant fanatic and their nymphs look just like my Odontomachus bureni workers from my colonies. (Maybe that's where the name came from?) So please, ANYTHING, just make sure it's cheap or reasonable for it's type! Thanks. :) :)

Have you checked out the ads? Paul (Ismart) had some Heirodula Multispina (Giant Asian) for FREE! Just pay shipping! I just got 10 from him...all expertly packaged & NICE! (Speaking of which, I need to go and get them set up! D'oh!) :D

That one slipped past me. What would better...priority shpping or express? (I'd rather not pay more than 20$ :( )

Priority is fine. Hot weather is kicking in, might want an ice pack. Check the days when the person is gonna ship to see if its okay to ship during the week. Thats what i do.

Temps are pretty good for the next week, for florida at least, they are ranging from the low 70s and low 80s.

Remember that they are coming from New York, though...and probably passing through many eastern states along the way, so if there are a lot of temperature fluctuations on the way, you might want to consider express...either way, Paul packages them very well, so you *shouldn't* have to worry, no matter which you choose! (Unless you wait till dead of winter & no heat pack.)

If you don't want to pay more than $20, that rules out Express, anyway.

Paul (Ismart) is one of the best breeders and most experienced shippers on the forum. You might want to ask his opinion, first.
