This nectar gathering wasp came by but she ignored it for the most part.

That's an interesting way to feed a mantis!
I sat her on the flowers for some sun and to see if she would catch the flies that gather on that flower. I caught the butterfly gathering necter on my butterfly bush to feed her. Orchids seem to love moths and butterflies.

I did that with Mellisa (when she was alive), I put her on an achilia because this greenbottlefly kept coming and I couldn't catch it so I put her on and she caught it and ate it!

 
Nice pics. Can't wait to get some!The "moth" you caught was actually a Silver Spotter Skipper butterfly. ;)
Oops. I thought I typed butterfly. B) They are easy to catch by hand and I get tons of them. I am trying to feed her mostly wild caught moths/butterflies.
