Orchid mantis feeding

Hello everyone, are roaches (Blatta lateralis and Phoetalia pallida) a good stable source of food for Orchid Mantis? Thanks in advance.

Orchid mantis are flower mantis. I recommend only flying food like flies and moths.

Everything I've read said bugs like that are ok as a treat or whatever, but not as a staple. I did fruit flies, then house, flies, then will move up to bb flies. Getting down the routine is a little more difficult.
