I just got an adult male mantis in the post this morning, and hes mounting anything he comes into contact with, i even tried putting him near an actual female lol, first he was holding onto the tissue in his tub, then my finger, then my trouser leg! and even a bloody leaf lol

And now hes back onto the tissue, how can i get him off?

Lol no its a Rhombodera sp, shield mantis, i came back home from school and found to my surprise he was perched normally!

Not trying to hump anything in the neighboring vicinity, so i decided to get the female out, and then he mounted my finger again ^_^

I managed to pry him off last night, and got him onto the female, they`ve been mating since last night. I left them in a net cage for the night and they are still at it now
