When should I introduce the male to the female? Someone told me that introducing Texicorns too soon will result in female's brutal behaviour towards the male - so, I'd like to avoid that.

In my opinion, it depends on the species. Some really easy to pair up mantises, such as my P. ocellata, pair up when they were around 2 weeks old as adults. Of course, that is practically in breeder sense the minimum of the minimum, and everyone is pushing towards 3-4 weeks. However, I haven't had any female aggression towards the male during mating at 2 weeks, although I've heard about female aggression(And even hungry males o_O) in other species. Also, it really depends on how much you want to risk it with yours...Just wait for 3-4 weeks, stuff the female till she stops eating, and supervise them 24/7.. xD

I try to mate most of my speices at 2 weeks.up to u i guees..like asdsdf said 3-4 weeks is what most people do.
