Were you keeping the two Ghosts separated until the mating? Did you change the temperature or the humidity leading up to the event? I'm just wanting to know what it takes to get it done. It has been a while for me to actually mate Ghosts. I really like their look. Good job! Good luck with getting some oothecae and to hatch some.

I've been keeping them in group to adult. Then first adult female started to pray on subadults, so i decided to separate males. Same temp, same humidity etc. Scene from pictures takes aprox 4 minutes, when female started to move, male just jumped quickly ;)

Thanks for your response to my questions. I am sure that if there was a connection and there was the required days before mating them, you will have success. Good luck. I have a way to go with my five little L-1s.

My males weren't anything like that. <_< They'd just sit there, look at her for a second, and run in the opposite direction without her even seeing him. So I'd walk away and like five minutes later I'd come back and find them mating. I have like ten L2s and L3s from one of those matings. There were a few bad hatches but ten is still a nice number. So far looks like three males out of the L3s. :D
