For a couple days I have been observing this L2 Tenodera (chinese) nymph dragging its hind legs round. Not certain if it was a poor moult or got caught  in the door of its enclosure, I didn't think it was long for this world. This morning I check the group (6 together) in one enclosure , to my surprize & joy there is the nymph with a D. Hydei in its grip eating voraciously . Still dragging its hind end around , goes to show the tenacity of paraplegics .

If it survives long enough possibly another moult may correct the mobility challenge ....  S

Woot and Grats. Most young are pretty adaptive particularly if they have few or no genetic problems. If it can eat and drink might just make it.

Have you considered fabricating a 2 wheel miniature cart for a couple of molts?  My head is buzzing with designs that I am sure will not work, LOL

Believe me, I am laughing at this one with you.    Think I just thru out mantis cart design # 36. Glad this is all mental exercise, would be expensive to start building and testing materials. As the need for such a device is very small, I see no market so no need for prototypes and testing.

Now if my OCD will let whole train of thought go.
