Phorid flies!!!

I do not know if Phorid flies are bad or if they are parasitic, but I know that some are and I know that they killed my precious James. He was a Polyspilota aeruginosa male and had mated multiple times with Jaiden, my other Polyspilota aeruginosa female. I found him with his legs curled up and fore arms in an awkward position. I looked carefully and when I pulled up his wings, I saw a seething mass of phorid fly maggots. I couldnt save him...they had basically killed him...I boiled him in hot watee which killed the maggots and also killed him...it was rreally all I could do...so in short, watch out for Phorid flies! And also, I miss you little buddy?

I would say that the male probably died already and the flies found the corpse.
