Did a small Mantid Photo shoot yesterday.

Nice photos. I will try to post some of my Chinese nymphs. I just found the 3rd one molting to L5 (9 to go)! This is almost as exciting as their feasting.

Great photos.

Mine never get mad enough to show a threat pose. I've even tried kissing them on the face and they just don't mind. I even think that my adult ghosts like it. Hehe

Maybe next time I'll try some tongue. Lol

I like #6, its like she knows that she is pretty.

I also like the threat display pics. I can't get any of my mantids to do a threat display once they are adult, and I try.

It was easy, all I did was try and take her out of her cage! She used to not do that, I don't know what happened but it looks so cool when they do it!

Once in a while, I get a threat display, but it is always by accident. <_<

I am getting more of the "drop and be a stick" behavior when I open the containers and it just looks like a dead mantis.
<_< It doesn't make the best photo opportunity.
