I have a pair of L5 Phyllocrania paradoxa.The male is 2,5 cm,3 the female.What type of food can I give to its?i think greenbottle fly wich I have are too big for the two mantis,or not?Drosophila melanogaster is a good food?Thanks at all

 
The female continue to be scared by grenbottle and grasshoper...I use forced alimentation until the mantis take a molt!

Your mantis is a wuss! :lol: I just fed a L4 female ghost a blue bottle fly yesterday. She did not have much of a problem taking it down. If your mantis is that afraid? Maybe you should look into buying some smaller feeders, like house flies, or D. hydei fruitflies. Unless you mantid is sick, or mismolted, there is no reason the mantis should have forced alimentation. ''Alimentation'' Great word! :lol:
