I was Using a 12X12X18 terrarium, the one that opens in the front, heavily planted with live plants. most of the pics are taken in a mini-indoor studio type set-up. its a pop up photo box, and a potted plant. makes for good light in bad weather. after about L-4 the mantis seemed to enjoy the attention and were very cooperative, I hope my new kids will be as easy!

the camera is an olympus e-30 and usually 50mm macro lens for these shots. thanks alice
