i remember reading somewhere that while the nymphs can change to different colors like pink, blue, violet, to match their environment, the adults usually turn back to the normal coloration. one of my males molted into an adult yesterday and he actually retained his pink coloration. he's been pink throughout his later nymph stages. i'm not sure if he's special or if what i read was false info, but i don't believe i've seen a picture of an adult that was not of the normal coloration. anyway, here are some pics. i just got a canon rebel xt and i'm still learning how to use it so these pics came out bad. plus, i don't think i had enough lighting.

He is beautiful. About time to clean that cup out huh? :D

Hi.

I would wait another week, maybe the color is going to vanish, what would be a pity, though.

Regards,

Christian
