Hi,

Last saturday I went to Plantaria in Germany ( Link to website )

I read that there were some mantids.

They had 9 different species, in every enclosure there was one adult female. Except for the Phyllocrania paradoxa

I was able to find them all, except the Deroplatys lobata who was hiding behind a piece of bark, I think.

Nice. Need to make me a fancy room like that and keep just a few select species.

Any idea who makes the cages with the sliding glass doors?S-
Those cages are common over here, you can get them at any show or have them built to specification by several makers.

Similar glass cages, but not with sliding doors, are Exo Terra cages. Not that expensive and lots of ventilation on top.

Yes, I have been looking at the Exo Terra and Zoo Med terrariums. One thing I like about the Zoo Med models is the front glass is not split. But Exo Terra seems to have more lighting and heating options....
