This is my first mantis that I bought when I reentered the hobby. She has been an adult since June 22nd. She hasn't eating in 4 days, despite me putting all kinds of food in her cage. She has laid 3 ooths, one of them fertile, but the 2nd was really small. Is she at the end of her life, or is this something temporary?

most likely temporary, she is still young for an adult female popa...make sure she gets water also...if she doesnt want to eat, then she doesnt want to eat..if she is skinny then it would be a problem, how plump is she?

She stopped eating after laying an ooth. She looks like a new adult. Her belly is slightly bigger than flush with the rest of her underside.

leave her be for a day (wihtout attempting to feed her anything), then try again saturday...if still no success after saturday then try to hand feed her the juicy part of a roach or cricket...

I only use wild caught food. Would a cricket from outside be okay? I heard that they can be disease ridden.
