Just thought I'd ride out Sandy by taking a couple of snapshots of Nikki Mantis, before she heads out to the Home for Aging Tenodera Sinensis (HATS).

Canon 50D with Tamron 70-200mm macro. 200mm @ ~3 ft. Bounce flash and ambient tungsten.

When I get delivery of the Canon 100mm macro, will have a lot more fun!

I agree Wolf. I became a foster parent of Nikki after she'd reached maturity. One of the tamest and most personable I've owned.
