today i was checking over my ooths i had incubating in my tank and noticed on a few of the sticks the ooths were attached to was like a pinkish white powdery substance and i figured might be spores or maybe mold in a powder form but since they did not seem to be on the ooths would this be a problem as long as i keep the sticks they are attached to semi clean or should i just spray them but i dont really want to spray the ooths too much though!i have a old tooth brush i am using to just scrub off the spores off the sides of the sticks and will keep using the brush if i see more spores or mold!I dont want to have to remove all the ooths from the sticks if i dont have to i have 10 gemmatus and 4 gambian!

good note only 2 sticks had this mold or spore problem and the bark came off both sticks so i think the problem is solved for the time being and also realized i should of never went to use gravel as a substrate as it takes longer for the gravel to dry out over paper towels and could of ruined all my ooths but in turn went back to paper towels and spraying them and put back my fake plants on the towels instead of the gravel!

That is common. Just some mold on the sticks. You should be spraying the substrate instead of the sticks.

that is what i am back to doing spraying paper towel and the fake plants and the paper towel in with my other 2 ooths as well!
