hello again community,

Today I'm in search of opinions regarding the enclosure size that is preferred for hatching ooths..

I've searched the web and gathered all other information on incubation and all that, but was just curious as to the recommend size of the container.

(Stagmo Carolina)

For carolinas (any natives really) if you are going to leave them for any amount of time (meaning may only check on them once a day) I'd say one cubic foot per ooth.

If you are checking them several times per day you could go smaller and start moving them to a more permanent home as they begin to explore

If you want minimal, you can hatch them in a 32oz cup, just check multiple times a day so when they do hatch you can move them (cup and all) to a larger enclosure.

okay, I've got an extra sugar jar I converted into a mantis tank sometime ago. Its pretty decent sized, well over 32oz and its glass (transparent)

should be good enough I think... Once i modify a lid for freshlings.
