My mantid had a big stomach then I saw her!? depositing some cacoon looking thing, Was she knocked up. Pictures will be coming soon.
One of the coolest things ever! So can Thesprotia graminisP.S. If she's a Brunneria borealis, disregard everything I said. These mantids are parthenogenic (can reproduce without mating) and look like this:

I would love to compile a whole list of species that are known to do that!so can the Acontiothespis multicolor according to some and miomantis can but rarely does it too!
