One of the members suggested smearing banana and brown sugar to lure moths. It worked! Captured a 25cm (body) beauty gorging herself with the slop. Question. This is a much larger meal than I usually feed Nikki Mantis (mature Tenodera sinensis). She had her regular meal this morning - 1 large feeder cricket. Should I wait an extra day to give her this Thanksgiving moth? It's as plump as a turkey and considerably more than Nikki gets in a single feeding. Or do you find they don't overeat like us and will just drop leftovers when she's satiated?

Thanks !

She will eat some then drop it after she's full, I would wait a day on food till she's more hungry, it would be a waste of a good meal if only half eaten.

Thanks Angel. Yup, a day to build a healthy appetite sounds like a plan. In the meantime I can prep the mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie for her :clown:
