I tried searching for this sp. on the internet but I haven't found any info on it.

Does anybody have some info or pics concerning this species? I'd love to learn more about it! ;)

Thanks!

This species occurs just in the Amara region of Ethiopia. There are no existing pictures as far as I know.

In this one book i got it has a picture of what looks like a flower mantis no #9 marking on the wing just green patterning, it was pink all over, and had white spotted eyes ab it like a gambian

There are several flower mantid genera, not just the ones we breed: Chlidonoptera, Harpagomantis, Helvia, just to mention the most spectacular ones. Ps. amarae looks exactly like the other two species, the distinctive features are faint. Most people can't even distinguish Ps. wahlbergii and ocellata, the chaos would be even greater if this species would be in stock as well.

There were some threads dealing with the ID of the species of this genus. There are morphological characters like shape of the pronotum, length of the vertex protuberance or the width of the costal field of the wing. Size has absolutely nothing to do with it.

It will be the end of civilised indentifying society as we know it!!!!!!!!!!
