Question on Orchid after molt

Hey guys,

I recently had an orchid mantis molt and now it has wings and has 2 extra legs that are for what it appears, just hanging there. Was this caused by a problem while it molted , or will this fall of with time?

Hello. What do you mean that it has two extra legs? Six legs and two arms? That will make your mantis very special and we would like to see a photograph.

The wings indicate that it has become an adult.

Pic would be helpful. I doubt it has two extra legs. Is it a part of the old skin hanging there?

Sorry it took me a bit to get back, I have been out of town, the mantis is looking beautiful now, it seems it was just part of the molt and got me a bit scared.
