quick question on giant asian ooth

Hey all,

About how long is the gestation of a gian asian ooth? My female laid two about 10 and 8 days ago....so just curious how long until I have nymphs....or if there's time to trade/sell one.

4-8 weeks. Shouldn't take eight but depends.

Yep a good six usually does it, make sure to mist it!

Mist it, eh? oops. I haven't been doing that. Well, better late than never. Anyway, I keep my mantis outside (except durring the night if the forecast is for temps lower than about 55), so everyone gets the benefit of a dewy morning. That should be fine, I imagine.

The dew should be sufficient.
