OK. I thought it was about mantids at war with pirate mantids on the high seas. The frog was an amphibious recon soldier hired as a mercenary to locate and recover nuclear warheads on a submarine in the Atlantic. The fruit fly was a double agent posing as a love interest with an objective of intercepting the frog and sidetracking it from it's main objective. When the frog got orders to terminate the fly and move forward with the plan he was heart broken. However, his training kicked in and he delivered the fatal blow, but not before she gave birth to a little maggot; his maggot. Frog retrieved the warheads and attached them to rocket ship just in time for them to detonate in outer space. All while raising a young frog/fly baby. Super dad.
