Religiosa Ootheca Question

OK, I diapaused my religiosa ooth for several weeks, a minimum of a week short of a month. I'm now heating it in a 32 oz oz with the usual raffia setup.

I'm wondering, though: Did I diapause it long enough? Or did I waste an ooth?

A diapause(over-wintering) isn't nessisarry with these or Chinese either, I hatched out many without it.

Some people like to do it so they can catch prey outside come spring time is all.

hard to say, I have tried both in and out of cold, few hatchings either way with this years ooths.

Thx guys! It's just that Orin's book said "a few months" so I didn't know if I needed a fresh ooth.
