S. Limbata missing leg

My S. Limbata made its molt to L3 tonight and lost its leg in the exoskeleton during the process. I am concerned that he will develop an infection now. What steps should I take to help prevent this?

I do not think mantises usually get infections from loosing a leg. He will probably grow his leg back in a few molts.

An infection is unlikely unless its enclosure is filthy and contaminated or if it's kept in unsuitable conditions. Provide plenty of ventilation and don't over-mist.
