S. prestiosa pair

Wanna share a few pics of my adult pair of S. prestiosa, he has been riding on her in the net cage on and off for few days, looking forward for the new generation

You know nothing to do with the mating, but they kind a look like a gramma and grampa :lol:

I guess it is the pointed eyes that look like hairy ears and the chin! hA

Beautiful coloring and complicate structure its appear, that is the way I am so fond of this species.

What are you feeding them? Even at L6? mine is eating D. Hydei.

Thanks all, yes i saw them mating but I didn't take the pic when they are connected, giving them their "private" moment

@ hibiscusmile... that was funny :lol: lets hope the "Gramma" will produce some good ooth.

@ spawn, i am feeding them house fly, moth, blue bottle, and roach as adult.

@Kruszakus: yes i took a pic of her a day after she moulted into adult, where her wing hasn't developed into nice green with blue hue yet as shown in pic below.

What the heck?! I though that this was a nice looking yet very small mantis, and now you are showing me this? Dude - this female is gianormous... yeah, that's a good word... whatever it means...

As for senile looks - I would blame it on the fact that the mele is kinda hunching - must be the pain in the back... and pain in the dong :lo:

Well couple of inches, not particularly huge

She layed an ooth the male keep mating with this female, it is like on daily basis!
