I've been really excited because one of my mantids was nearly ready for a molt! I just checked on it, and it had molted as I had suspected, but it was in the corner of the enclosure on the ground. That leaves me with only one T. Sinensis, and I don't even know if that one will make it. I'm doubtful that the last nymph will make it to adulthood without some freak mismolt. I knew the species was prone to mismolt when I bought the ooth, but I didn't realize that it would wipe out the majority of the brood. A sad day indeed.

Dont give up! I have several babies, would you like one? I bred the parents and the ooths were laid in my home.

Sorry for your loss.. that is the worst part of this hobby... you just have to get back on the horse and hopefully the next time it will be a different outcome.

Sorry to hear of your losses. It can be tough for many reasons, even humidity can be too low or too high.

I sent you a PM. ;)

Can you post pictures of your last mantis and the enclosure?
IMG_20150309_220326.jpgIMG_20150309_220331.jpgSorry for the delay and bad quality. She just molted to L3 today, though. By weird chance the mantis who survived was the one I labeled '1'. Hadn't thought about that.

Looks like a good setup.

I suggest to spray the container lightly in the morning and spray the container some what heavy at night.

This worked for mę
