This forum is inspiring
My interest in mantids started when I found an Orchid nymph in my mom's orchids. Unfortunately she met an untimely end with a random yet feisty earwig that crossed her path. Since then, I've just been observing the mantids in my yard and letting them do their thing. I like to think of them as my free-range organic mantids. When they disappear, I gather up their oths and keep them safe. I love having mantids around in the new garden I planted. Just wish there were more of these fascinating little creatures. Hopefully I will be able to acquire more that are allowed for release here in California.
Cheers!
