Okay, so recently I found a female Sassacus vitis, and I went to the gardening store to find some small plants for her habitat, and while I was there, I found him. A new male!

My first breeding attempt failed, with the death of Rookwood, my male mantis. Biollante is how thick and happy, and hopefully more willing to breed this time.

Unfortunately, this male looks a little old. I'm wondering if he can still breed? He can barely grasp the plastic sides of his habitat.

Wait...aren't sassacus jumping spiders?

He looks old and it may be time for him to put down the ol' claws.

Yeah, they are. I guess I could've phrased that better, lol. I meant I found him while looking for plants for the spider's habitat, but I intended to breed him with Biollante, my female mantis.

And yeah, I thought he looked too old too. He's already passed. Thanks for the advice, though!
