I would like a second opinion of my guess of female on my L4 African... I'm afraid I'm just seeing what I want to see! Sorry for the low quality photos.

Looks like a male.
@izbiggs I would like to help you out with the ID, but with the photos the segments are not identifiable/countable and the last abdomen segment (near the anus) is blurry in all for even a best guess. I was hoping someone else was able to make them out, but it seems not. Sorry.
