Sexing my griffin

I have a new adult griffin but i cannot tell what gender it is. The wings extend a centimeter past the abdomen but it has 6 body segments. Signs point to both male and female. Is there anything else I can do to sex a griffin mantis.

By the six segments it's female, not all mantid species have different size wings depending on gender.

If your mantis has six segments beneath its abdomen that that is a girl. Just to make sure a picture would help.

Is the abdomen wide or skinny? Most likely female

Its abdomen is very skinny and its other 3 eyes are clearly visible.

So it's thin and flat then? That would lead me to think male.. But you said six segments... Try counting again
