I want to construct a tent for shade this spring so Fuzzy and I can sit outside by the sandbox, I was thinking of using the metal that has the holes in it and has two sides, sorry can't remember the name of it. what I am wondering is if I use it and brace the sides by the tops on each corner with short pieces caddycorner, will it hold or will I need some thing else to keep it together. maybe I draw a pic.

When I think of sandbox, I tend to veer towards an image of an open pit of sand that wild animals and cats tend to use as a latrine... I hope you plan on both obtaining clean sand or cleaning the sand prior to filling and keeping the sandbox covered when not in use! You might be better off using something metal that's cylindrical rather than flat-faced--they tend to be more stable and less prone to getting bent unless very thin.

I tried to upload my image and it would not let me, tried 2 diff ways to do it, all I ended up doing was making the fonts really big on internet explorer and figured out this am how to redo them. will repost after I do my morning work, grannyma slept in, her bad girl :}

haha, A has it, thats what I want, with using preforated metal. Here is our sandbox. ps Fuzzy is the little guy, Chase it the bigger guy, and Maddys leg! All my greadbabies!
