Shipping oothecae in winter

Hello friends, so what are your experiences with mailing oothecae once it's cold out? Is it safe or how's survival in your experience? Mainly interested in tropical species. Please share your experiences. Thanks a lot

You should probably include a heat pack with a tropical species.

Oh, I should add that I have Phylocrania and Otomantis coming this week. I'm trying to acquire Hymenopus aswell, but since we already have subzero temperatures out here, I may just wait for spring. Even with express, transit can be around 10 days so regular heatpacks may not be enough. The longest lasting heatpacks I've heard are 72 hours. Any successful or unsuccessful attempts would be great to hear about!

Well good luck with your ooths. My otomantis ooth is a little behind on when it was supposed to hatch.

Yeah it’s been about 5 and a half weeks... starting to make me nervous. Been wanting boxers for a while...
