I tried a glue to secure an ooth to a deli lid - the glue is called "Shoe Goo." It is not runny and will not seep into things like Super glue and does not expose the nymph eggs to any heat. I just make a little lump and squeeze it between the ooth and the lid and it holds in place. Once it dries it is rubbery and hard glue with excellent strength. In case you were wondering, this glue is used to fill holes in shoe soles, go figure.

A low temp hot glue gun is your best bet. I use it for everything. I have never had the "heat" cause any problems because I let it cool a few seconds before attaching. It is also very very cheap too. I would be more worried about the chemicals in other glues.
