will she be ok??

As long as she doesn't act wierd or like that scab-thing bothers her, it should be ok. Do you think it could be an abrasion of some sort?

i think it was from the male's claw
Yikes! That sounds like it would hurt! She should be ok though...just be sure that there's nothing coming out of that little spot. Also, in Praying mantids keeping aliens they suggest putting a little nail polish on the wound. Hope this is helpful I've never had this happen to mine so I don't have much experience with that kinda thing. Should be fine, though. :)

I have never shared this on the forum but I actually once severely injured a female S. viridis of mine. Her abdomen was essentially cut open a little on the side. I immediately took a small piece of paper towel and used it to clot the wound the same you would stop a cut from bleeding after a shave. The wound scabbed around the paper towel and she lived on a few more months happily (with a minuscule piece of paper towel on her butt :p ). The point I'm trying to make is I think she'll be fine :) .
