hey all

i just got my cali female's ooth from rick today

i am wondering if i should diapause it

the first time i had them i diapaused the ooth in the attic of my house until temps got to -27 (according to the hydrothermometer) then in my sisters 50 degree closet from october to april

the nymphs took 3 months to hatch and 50 got stuck and died

2 weeks later a dozen more hatched ok and were fine, undersized and none made it to L5, so i am wondering if diapausing the ooth is a good idea afterall

please help

so all 3 hatched? nice! any problems with hatch rate or nymph mortality? the box sat in cool weather for a while today though so i think i have to diapause it now :huh:

I incubated them at around 90F. It takes about a month for the ooth to fully hatch.

I kept it rather high. It was about 70 to 80% After they hatch keep them warm, and dry.
