Hi, I made a thread a few days ago but I still want someone's opinion on what I should do. I have a mantis that has had no interest in prey whatsoever. I have tried for hours to feed her. She's interested in it but never grabs it. She's chewed the ends of her legs off (maybe got stuck?) but now she's having a hard time navigating anywhere... Anyway back to the food thing. She was ignoring prey for at least two weeks, which I know is enough to starve a mantis. She's eaten very little because I forced her to eat. She's an adult, probably a few months into adulthood. At this point I'm not sure if she really has a quality of life and I don't know what to do. I've tried moths, flies, worms, etc. it got so bad to the point when I cleaned her cage there were dead uneaten flies all over the place. If someone could please give me their opinion that would be very helpful... thanks

@GayJerk  Nature has a way of taking care of itself , leave the mantid for a set time  , if nothing gets better then euthANIze her... be time specific ........... S

Ok, thank you for the reply. How long should I wait? A day? A few days? A week?

An injury is one thing , I nursed a Tenodera for 8 days after her catastrophic adult mismoult. TOOOO long..

A wasting away is harder to watch because of he unknown and undone . I would relieve her at 6/7 days.....have or get a replacement quickly........ S
