anyone here built one and have any tips? any idea what kind of flowers i can grow in one without providing it heat....or maybe i will add heat to mine when its finished

so far mine has been planned to be a shed made a plastic  my only problem is we have so many giant trees and mountains im not sure where i could put it that gets sun most of the day. <_<

photos would be interesting if anyone have any

your in Colorado like I am you will need heat I knew A Orchid grower up in evergreen that had his up in the mountains, and his was a kind of plastic greenhouse kit with as bubble wrap insulation, and then My Bonsai teacher up in Weatrige he just has the hafe pipe like greenhouse with thick sheats of plastic layed over each other.

As far as plants go its up to how hot you are going to keep it and then cool in in the summer, and then what kind of sunlight your going to have?.

Now if you have shade later in the after noon you can have some low-med light orchids, now the late in the after noon can be shadey or just how much light you get you could see about haveing higher-light Orchids and so on.

im guessing you meant "if you're in CO" since i AM NOT in CO(wanted to make this clear because i got a couple PMs from people in CO asking me for some advice about finding local mantids

i am in the mountains of Tennessee the winter are decently mild the coldest it ever gets is about 9F and only a couple times a winter. usually around 25-45 through most of winter and it doesnt snow but a couple times a year ;)

here is the thing i dont really want anything that needs it hot since if i wanted soemthing like that i could just buy a few UVB lamps and grow it in my storange room like local people grow there....nvm....im just thinking simple things that can survive the cold temperature just cant handle the frosts and winds ;) though my mind seems to change quickly :D
