Better molt or she'll be red soon!

I've warmed mine up a lot since they were white. Like from room temp to 80+ degrees. I think that she's about to molt and that's what's causing the change, but maybe it's temperature change?

Are you sure that's an orchid mantis? Maybe you're just cooking shrimp! :tt2:

She looks as though she could still eat more. Mine don't molt until they've fed until their abdomens extend past their head.

AHHH SO PINK IM GOING BLIND!!!!!! :p Beautiful bro! I wish wallies got this color!
P.w's can become that colour! There are various studies that have shown Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii nymphs raised on red-pink coloured flowering plants began to attain phenotypical colours similar to their environment with each passing moult. Here are a few photos to share (I didn't take them :) .

I currently have a batch of pw's and will be conducting an experiment of this nature with my next gen. It'll be a few months but none the less, it should be quite fascinating.

wow. What a beauty :) Do their wings become pink to, or are they always white as adults?
I don't think I've ever seen a noticeably pink adult. I think their whole body is always white until they start laying oothecae. Then, according to precarious, they turn pink again.
