As some stores have already putting up Valentine sales, here are some mantis pairing pics taken recently to spice thing up :lol: Enjoy!

After failing to continue for another generation, am hoping the spiny flower mantis to succeed this time.

Grass mantis pairing - pretty intensive!

Nigerian flower mantis - male will risk their head for it, as always

There's the spermophore (spelling?) at the end of her abdomen.... bummer, got to go for another round

Those are great pics yen. Looking at your orchid pics though I may be wrong in thinking my female is subadult. I thought she was but your female looks way bigger than the male. Mine is larger than the adult males but doesn't look like she will be that much bigger with one more molt.

Rick, i could be wrong but believed your female orchid should be subadult by now, is it amazing how much bigger she will get in just one molt (into adult).
