i was told that idolomantis originate from place where a distinct dry or wet season remain on subadult stage for 3-4 months before turning into adult, but those with 2 cycle of distinct season matured in shorter period of time without any sign of "delay" maturing into adult.

How do they compare to Cryptic Mantis? From what I can see my S. pretiosa are the fastest growers yet.
Thanks guys.

So far for me, the idolomantis is definately growing faster than Cryptic mantis (S. Prestiosa?). :) but i expect the idolomantsi to slow down significantly after the 5th moult.

Yes, I'm talking Sybilla pretiosa. Fastest growers hunh? Well, it must be true since you've kept so many different species. Do you know if they live long like Ghosts too?

Yen,

They look good! You are the mantis king. ;) Beautiful pictures too.

Thanks for sharing, I love seeing your pictures!

Both species have about the same life span for me (~8-10 months from hatchling to death), although i have a ghost female that live slightly over a year.
