Am very sad, afraid Spooky ghost mantis is dying. Found him spasming on the floor of his cube tonight. Have been giving him honey and water and he consumed a lot, his little mouth moving, but looks so old and tired. He is so tame and friendly. I feel i am losing a friend. Wish they lived longer.

Sorry to hear Spooky is dying. :(   I am sure he enjoyed the honey water.  I wish too they have a longer life.

So sorry about Spooky :(  It is always hard to lose a mantis that you have had for a while and gotten attached to.

Thank you. Will really miss him. He has become totally nonresponsive. It has only been five weeks since his final molt until adulthood. What a kind, friendly, intelligent little guy. Gave him bug guts yesterday along with honey and water intermittently throughout the day but he just got more and more tired. RIP Spooky. Will always miss you...my first ghost mantis.
