I found some super strange worms in my heterochaeta orientalis inclosure. They look like dark meal worms. atm i call them "ZOMBIE MEALWORMS!"

they are about 1/3 of an inch in length. What could they be?

I will post pics in a second.

I hate those! Dont let them get loose in your house, they can be difficult to get rid of. They destroy my yarns and fibers.

I have some of the Dermestid beetles. They really can keep a tank clean, and both larva and beetles can't climb (plastic or glass - none of mine have at least) but the adult beetles all can fly. So if you keep them make sure they can not escape their container, as Sticky said I would hate to have them loose in my house too.

They often come along with crickets. They devour anything they can get to and that includes any dried specimens you may have around. I learned that the hard way. Taxidermists use some species to clean animal bones of all tissue. They will also eat any kind of natural fiber so they can be quite a pest if they get loose.
