I had a B. Mendica ooth hatch outa total of 39 on 11-21-05.Out of which 30 are still alive.Ok I expected as much so no worries there.Ok I have been keeping a record of there molts and numbering the containers A-1 through A-4 to keep track of them.A for the first wave of molts B for the second etc.I figured there would be a wave of molts every day until all 30 had molted. Here is how it has gone so far.

A1-A4 11-30-05

B1-B3 12-01-05

C1-C3 12-02-05

Ok now there hasn't been any molts from the remaining twenty. Now I haven't been keeping a feeding scedule.Just been kind of looking at there abdomens seeing if they could use a meal or not.I have owned mantids long enough that I think I can tell when they have had enough or are getting to skinny.Just wondering why there haven't been any molts for a few days.

On a side note I haven't been spraying as I have read that these guys are used to 40-50% humidity and the closet I keep them in with bulbs and everything stays at about 80 degrees and 50%.

Ok, I know this doesn't answer your question, but I have to say that your avatar is great! I hope your molting goes well...

They won't all molt on the same day just because they are all from the same ooth. For example, the two mantids in the pic below are from the same ooth. Your situation is perfectly normal.
