Hahaha! This is great!Lol that lineola is thinking "oh sh**"!
Not positive, but I believe that is an L5.Very tricky Scott. What instar is the middle insect?
I didn't. You'd have to ask the mantises how they did it. I had other pics that I might have chosen, but since they both looked like they were looking apprehensively at the alien, I chose this pic and the title at the same time.how'd u manipulate the pseudopupils like that??
Yep. Curved up poster board.I also want to say that this is an amazing photo. I absolutely love the expression they both have. Is the background an angled/bent piece of paper? I'm really digging it. And if so, I've never gotten that set up to look that good.
Well done, you're work always impresses me.
Sure. That's fine. Just give me credit. You can write whatever you want about it. Thanks.I would like to put this picture on my website mantisbreeder.weebly.com. Is that alright? People will like this a lot. And if I do what do you think I should write about it? I will say the picture was taken by you.
Thanks a lot! So what instar is the one on the right? Sphodromantis lineola right? What kind of Rhombodera is that on the left? Oh, there is nothing to think of. Stranger in town as you titled it. I did not see that LOL!Yep. Curved up poster board.

Not sure what instar the S. lineola is. It was supposedly a sub when I bought it, but it molted again the day before this pic and still no wings, so probably either a presub or sub now. The Rhombodera is a valida. Thanks a lot! So what instar is the one on the right? Sphodromantis lineola right? What kind of Rhombodera is that on the left? Oh, there is nothing to think of.
