I got a bunch of nymphs in the mail today. En route one of them molted, but his back legs are stuck in the shed exoskeleton. I humidified, put him in a container by himself, and for now I'm leaving him be to see if he can complete the molt on his own. Is there anything else I can/should do?

He is on the lid of the container, but when he moves he drags the skin with him. I tried holding on to it and letting HIM pull, but no luck.

mist him well let him sit for a few, then use forceps or tweasers to try to pull it off. will either stick to them or come right off

There wasn't enough humidity in the cup. The best you can do is hold the skin while he's on a textured surface and let him pull. If that doesn't work use an Xacto knife to cut the skin close to the ends of the legs. Be careful or you'll remove the rear feet. The ends of those legs will be misshapen and useless even if you get the skin off. Either way he should be better after next shed if it's not too bad.

An update: we spritzed him with water and held the exoskeleton and he managed to pull out of it. His back legs are curled all crazy but they are whole, so I think after another molt (assuming he can hold on to molt) he should be okay. Thanks for your help, again!

Yeah you can often get it off but the legs will be messed up. If they are real bad I just snip them off. The two rears are the worst ones to have this happen to.
